جِيءَ بِالنُّعَيْمَانِ أَوِ ابْنِ النُّعَيْمَانِ شَارِبًا، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَنْ كَانَ فِي الْبَيْتِ أَنْ يَضْرِبُوا قَالَ فَكُنْتُ أَنَا فِيمَنْ ضَرَبَهُ، فَضَرَبْنَاهُ بِالنِّعَالِ وَالْجَرِيدِ.
English Translation
When An-Nuaman or his son was brought in a state of drunkenness, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered all thosewho were present in the house to beat him. I was one of those who beat him. We beat him with shoesand palm-leaf stalks.
