📖 The Book of Marriage - كتاب النكاح
النص العربي
وحدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، وعمرو الناقد، وزهير بن حرب، جميعا عن ابن، عيينة - قال زهير حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، - عن أيوب بن موسى، عن نبيه بن وهب، عن أبان بن عثمان، عن عثمان، يبلغ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال " المحرم لا ينكح ولا يخطب " .
English Translation
'Uthman (b. 'Affan) reported it directly from Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) that he said: A Muhrim should neithermarry (in that state) nor make the proposal of marriage.
